Shadia Hrichi is a passionate author and speaker, who has a heart for seeing lives transformed by the power of God’s Word. Having experienced the heartaches of abortion, date rape, marital abuse, and more, Shadia captures the hearts of her audience as she illustrates, through personal experience, God’s love, faithfulness, and power of redemption. Her insightful, witty, yet vulnerable speaking style reveals her compassion for the hurting, love of God’s Word, and passion for the Truth that God’s story beats in every heart.
She is the author of Nameless No More and Worthy of Love: A Journey of Hope and Healing After Abortion, a story-driven Bible study for post-abortion healing recommended by Pastor Chip Ingram and his wife Theresa, Georgette Forney (Silent No More), Brian Fisher (Human Coalition) and many others. She is currently writing a Bible study based on the story of Hagar. In addition to her books, Shadia’s articles have been published with CBN, The Secret Place, The Upper Room, and Christian Voice magazine.
Shadia holds an MA in Biblical and Theological studies from Western Seminary, as well as an MA in Criminal Justice, and a BA in Psychology from the State University of New York. She currently resides in Northern California where she leads women’s Bible studies at Venture Christian Church and serves on the Board of Directors for RealOptions Pregnancy Medical Centers.
